Lately I've been noticing more and more people wearing woot shirts. Three people that particularly come to mind are Vincent, Alan, and Shogun. If you know them and know woot shirts, then ya know'm sayn'!

Yesterday was the one year mark of me and Annie's marriage. I'd have to say that it has been a year full of changes and growth. For me, I've learned that I'm not so put together as I think I am; my faith isn't as steadfast as I believe, Annie is more beautiful that I know; and God's is more loving than I realize. Praise God for the gift of marriage.

That day we celebrated by having some awesome spam fried rice Annie made for lunch at home, walked around some local neighborhoods soaking up the sun, went to Lowes to check out things we can get for some home projects, had dinner at Fish Cafe and desert at Ben & Jerry's in Kirkland, and relaxed at home. It's nice to be able to enjoy the simple pleasures in life with someone you love.

This post is dedicated to my worthy cousin Alice who had her 18th birthday this last Sunday. Here are some pics from the party. It was filled with a lot of great friends, food (sushi in particular...thanks to Soc), games, gifts, and of course Alice's great presence! 

My how time has flown since Alice arrived in Seattle! I remember how I used to wonder what it would be like if I had a younger sister. Then for some reason during my mission trip to the Dominican Republic in 2003 I went ahead and prayed to God about it. Wow, does God answer prayer. When I came back that summer I found out that my cousin from California whom I've never met before was moving in with my family! Since then Alice has been like a sister to me. We've been through a lot together and it has brought us closer. She has definitely come a long way since then in maturity and I know that she will continue to be a blessing in my life and the many others around her. I love her a lot and wish her the best. Here's to Alice!
